Overview
Why has Security Blue Team changed its name?
Our business has grown beyond its original focus on blue team training. We now support a broader range of cybersecurity learning and certifications across multiple areas.
The name better reflects what we offer today and allows us to continue expanding in the future.
Company and ownership
Is this the same company?
Yes. The team, leadership, platform, and training remain unchanged. Only the name has changed.
Has ownership changed?
No. There has been no change in ownership, leadership, or business operations.
Is my data still safe?
Yes. Your data remains fully secure. There have been no changes to how data is stored, managed, or protected.
Account and access
Do I need to create a new account?
No. All existing accounts, login details, and progress remain unchanged.
Is anything changing for me?
Your account, progress, certifications, and learning experience remain the same.
From 1 June 2026, you will log in via elearning.centri.org instead of the previous Security Blue Team domain. The old domain will redirect automatically to ensure a smooth transition.
Will people still see the name Security Blue Team?
Yes. During the transition period, both names may appear in different systems and materials while updates are completed.
Certifications
Are my certifications still valid?
Yes. All existing certifications remain fully valid. There are no changes to your records or certification status.
Will certificates showing Security Blue Team still be valid?
Yes. Certificates issued under the Security Blue Team name remain valid and recognised.
If I bought a course before the rebrand, what name will appear on my certificate?
Certificates issued before 1 June 2026 show Security Blue Team. Certificates issued after this date show Certi.
Both versions are equally valid.
Will certificates be reissued under the new name?
There are no plans for automatic reissuance. Existing certificates remain valid and do not need to be replaced.
What about printed certificates and coins?
During the transition period, some printed materials may still display Security Blue Team due to existing stock. This does not affect validity.
Billing and invoices
If I need an invoice, what name will it show?
Invoices issued after 1 June 2026 will reflect the name Centri and updated branding.
The legal entity remains 'Security Team Training Ltd', which will continue to appear on invoices.
During the transition, some documents may still reference Security Blue Team depending on timing or system updates.
Website and domain
What is happening to the website and domain?
We are moving to centri.org as the primary domain.
The existing securityblue.team domain will continue to redirect, so links, bookmarks, and access points will still work as expected.
What about Blue Teams Labs Online?
There will be no changes to our labs and investigations platform, and you can continue to access your account as you have previously by visiting https://blueteamlabs.online/
LinkedIn and sharing
What happens with certificates already shared on LinkedIn?
Nothing changes. Certificates issued under Security Blue Team remain valid and can continue to be shared as usual.
Courses and content
Are the courses or content changing?
No. All current courses, labs, and certifications remain the same.
We will continue to expand our offering over time, but nothing is changing as part of this rebrand.
